Well, this Houston Heights coffee date photo session was the cutest thing EVER!!
When these two said they wanted to do a non-traditional photo shoot for their engagement session at some of their favorite places around Houston, I was all in!! I love capturing my couples in places that are meaningful to them! Whether that is your favorite coffee shop, or a hobby you like together. It just makes the photos extra special for the years to come! (And makes my job as a Houston engagement photographer, really fun & interesting!)
Tynea & Dustin both ordered lattes for their Houston Heights coffee date, and they arrived with hearts in the foam. So perfect!! These two are adorable and snuggly. They laugh a lot, which makes for some of my favorite photos.
After they sipped on their coffee, we walked down the street to a local record store. They picked out a Mumford & Sons record and then we wandered into a local ice cream shop with balloons, and it was the cutest backdrop! So fun and cheerful, just like them.
After all the eclectic backgrounds, I wanted them to have some neutral photos that would fit anywhere in their home decor when they hung them on the wall, so we found a spot with a white background, and took some portraits there. The lighting was perfect, so we were able to get lots of pictures focused on their love, and the dynamic between them. And even a few individual photos of them too! (Which I love to add into your engagement session galleries as a bonus 🙂
